Knitted Sportswear Fabrics — Thermal-wet Comfort

This functional knitted sportswear fabric is mainly suitable for exercise, sweating and hot weather conditions, generally by close fitting sportswear to transfer sweat from the surface of the body to the outside, so that the skin keeps dry and comfortable. The following is a brief introduction to the material wicking texture and moisture wicking finishing.

(1).Knitted fabrics with wicking texture are mostly thin, and can be single-sided fabrics such as flat knit, honeycomb mesh, and jersey, or double-sided fabrics with a two-sided texture. The two-sided fabric uses hydrophobic fibres such as fine polyester, polypropylene, etc., with a honeycomb and mesh texture, so that the inner layer of the fabric is in point touch with the skin, increasing the breathability and comfort of the fabric; the outer layer uses water-friendly fibres such as cotton yarn, wool, etc. The fabric inner layer through the fiber capillary core suction effect will be skin sweat to the outer layer of the conduction, absorbed by the outer layer to the environment after evaporation, so as to achieve one-way wet.

(2).Knitted fabric hydrophobic finishing single-sided and two-sided, hydrophobic single-sided finishing refers to the use of hydrophilic or hydrophobic finishing agent on the knitted fabric for single-sided finishing, so that the finishing surface with different from the surface of the moisture absorption properties, thus forming the fabric on both sides of the differential capillary effect, to achieve a single guide wet. Hydrophilic and hydrophobic finishing on one side of the knitted fabric, the other side of the hydrophobic finishing, so that both sides of the fabric with hydrophilic and hydrophobic, inside and outside the two layers to form a significant differential capillary effect, so as to achieve the function of knitted fabric single guide moisture.
