The oil is refined by sophisticated equipment, and the chemical fiber, the main component of tulle, is thus born. The chemical fiber is mainly divided into three types of yarn weaving, nylon, polyester and spandex.
In addition to finishing and adding additives to the feel of tulle, it is the composition of yarn branch that affects the feel of tulle. The yarn branch of nylon and polyester can be divided into two categories: 1. Single filament (F number =1) 2. Multifilament yarn (F number > 2)
First of all, the same nylon composition, monofilament feel more stiff, full of chemical fiber sense, suitable for princess dress, wedding dress hem, both draping and tulle sense, and multifilament yarn nylon, feel is very skin-friendly, if you add some softener, then you can be used for close fabric, there is a certain sense of ice, this is the two feel of nylon.
Then, the same polyester component, polyester monofilaments feel relative to polyester multifilament yarn , feel is the same as nylon properties, monofilaments feel stiff + fluffy, however, the difference is that nylon and polyester contrast, polyester yarn characteristics is low shrinkage, so the same monofilaments or Multifilament yarn polyester, nylon feel will be softer than polyester. So tulle made from polyester monofilaments is often used in a bustle to hold it open from the inside of a skirt, and for maximum effect, the polyester fabric is usually made with stiffening agent, so that it will last longer.
Finally, let’s talk about the influence of spandex on the feel of tulle. Spandex is a stretch yarn, and 95% of spandex does not exist alone, but is woven into fabric by combination with nylon or polyester, and most of the tulle fabric produced by such combination is used in underwear products,so we know, spandex to tulle feel is what, is very soft, completely close to the body, the higher the content of spandex, the softer the feel, comfortable.
The above is the influence of different fabric composition on the tulle feel.
